commission terms

And here are the things to keep in mind for when you're commissioning me

what i will do

  • NSFW (Pinups and nudity)

  • Furry Characters

  • Some Mecha Elements

  • Creature Elements

  • Light Gore

  • Different Artstyles (to be agreed)

- In case of character models, please specify what kind of limitations and guidelines to work within the model, like texture map resolution, polycount and what kind of rig is needed

- For character models, it is also important for me to know what the model will be used for, so I can optimize the model to fit your needs
(Unity game, VTuber or Blender animations as an example)

- Keep in mind that the more reference you send me, the smoother the work will flow, could it be concept art or real life examples, the more the better

what i won't do

  • Full Mecha

  • Extreme Gore

  • Anything I wouldn't be comfortable with

- I'm still not fully comfortable with mechanical features, but have already done a few parts in the past, so it is something that can be agreed upon

- My limitations with NSFW can vary on a case by case basis, so feel free to ask about what you want with your model

- Also keep in mind I can reject things I'm not comfortable with, I'm usually very volatile and willing to work on a variety of themes and projects, so feel free to ask

how the work flows

My workflow is usually divided into a few steps, with them being:

  • Blockout: Where the main shapes and overall design are being sculpted

Model is still very rough looking during this phase, so please keep in mind it's still early and things will only get better from there, some changes are also fine during this phase when asked

This phase can take up to around a week, depending on the model

  • Retopology: This is where I get to clean up the blocky sculpt to make a clean and usable mesh out of it

Feedback usually isn't asked during this phase due to it's very technical nature

This phase can take up to 3 days, depending on the model

  • Additional Modeling: This is where I get to model the hard surface parts, some clothing pieces and hair

Changes during this phase are a bit harder to deal with than in the blockout phase

This phase can take up to a week, depending on the model, but usually goes quicker

  • Sculpting: This is where most of the details are done, the phase where things finally start to look pretty
I may ask for feedback the most during this phase so I could get everything the way it really should

This phase can take around a week, depending on the model

  • Low Poly Setup: This is where I make the setup for UV maps and final polish to the low poly model so I can bake the sculpt into it, a very technical phase so I usually don't ask for feedback during it

This phase is very quick, usually done in a day or two after sculpting

After this phase, major shape or design changes will be charged

  • Texturing: This is where all the textures get done, I may ask for some feedback regarding materials, colors or minor design details, this is also where smaller details like stitches or clothing patterns are done

This phase can take around 3 days, depending on the model

Rigging: This is where the rig and shape keys are done, the phase where time spent can vary the most, depending the kind of rig or shape keys asked
This phase can vary a lot in time, so I won't be having anything specific here

Posing and Render: This is where I get to make your character look as cool as they can be, all the posing, lighting, animation and rendering happens there

Timing varies if the model is animated or not

If model is meant for Vtubing, an additional week of work will be required for the Unity setup

Keep in mind that changes are best dealt early on, or else they can increase the time spent on the model by a lot, subject to extra charges if major changes are needed late in the modeling

If you have a specific deadline, please specify early on so I could adapt my workflow based on it, subject to extra charging if in a rush

Some of these steps can go quicker with character renders due to them not needing as much optimization

Times stated above are based on previous projects I worked on, and they may vary depending on the project and my current schedule, if delays may occur, I'll always let you know about it
